Question: Engine noise - 2011 Honda Civic

When my civic is driving over 50 mph the engine is fairly loud and sounds like it is stuck in a lower gear, but the rpms are fairly low (not high if it were stuck). Is this normal for this car?

I just took it in for its 30k service and it left with a clean bill of health.

At 50mph you should be some where around 1500-2000rpm. If its higher than that I would have the dealer look at it.
