Usually when you get multiple codes all of a sudden, there is more to it than just replacing sensors.

For all hard starting or engine performance issues, you should always start with the basics. Make sure the tune up items are done and check the charging and starting systems. The engine must have the basics done in order for it to be able to run correctly. Many things can cause this type of problem, and the simplest sometimes get overlooked.

I would clear the codes after the tune up and see if they reset. If they do then I would start looking at the circuits.

Hi Ronw,

Thank you very much for your reply, after measurements on the MAP sensor I have replaced the MAP sensor, it was broken, I have cleaned the EGR Valve and cleared the codes with a simple OBDII Scanner from $ 45.
By the way it was a Saab 9-3 2.2 TiD, year 1999, the Saab runs well again and the codes have not reappeared.
