Question: Every how many miles does transmission fluid need to be changed?

My sister has an 08 Nissan Rogue S AWD.
She bought it used with 21k miles on Feb. of 2010. She has about 40k miles now.
Also, about how much does it cost?

There is no set millage to replace the transmission fluid. The maintenance schedule suggests checking it for level and condition every 15k or so.

Replacing the fluid is listed at .5 hours labor and 10qts fluid. Fluid cost not listed.
