Question: Floor shift conversion

I have a 3 speed column shift on my truck but I'd like to convert it to a 3 speed on the floor with a hurst Indy pickup shifter.
How should I go about this?

To make this work you have to be able to fabricate with metals. You will have to make linkage stuff to the shifter and then cut a hole in the floor of the truck. If you can't do that stuff you need to have some one do it for you or with you to learn.
