Sounds like the blend door is stuck.

It is located under the dash board and usually are difficult to get to. Yours is probably controlled by electronic actuator that is operated by the computer. The actuator is usually the part that fails. It's about a $50 part, but the labor can be fairly expensive depending on which one has failed and how much of the dash has to be disassembled to access it.

If it is air flow speed, you may have a blower motor issue as well.

I had my problem fixed at the local Chevy dealership. It was the fan motor resistor located behind the fan motor under the dash. Your cost of $50 was quite accurate. The part was $54 and the labor was only $38. My son checked online for problems such as this with this car, and found what he thought was the problem. Then I went to the dealership two days ago and got it fixed. Thank you so much for the help in such a timely manner. Much appreciated! (NOT sarcasm......I really mean it. :-) ) If I have more problems in the future, I will definitely use this site to get some help.

Car Brakes: How Do You Know When to Change Them?

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
