Question: front end knocking on a ford focus

hi i changed my brake pads and since changing have had a knocking noise coming from front end of car i was told a clip was missing on the caliper so went bought new pads with clip on and it has quitened the noise down a lot but it is still there when turning and accelrating and braking i have checked ball joints which all look good dont know what else it could be please help thanks warren

if it started when you did the brake job, I suspect you may have mis-installed something. Your best bet is to have a shop inspect the front end. That way you be sure that there's nothing loose or worn.

hi thanks for your reply i have re checked everything it has all been done correctly when looking underneath i see the wishbone checked it to see if it would move at all there is a inch of movement but i dont know if this is normal or what i changed the anti roll bar im just at my wits end with it now i also have problem with the clocks in the car sometimes it kangaroos up the road holding back and the clocks go funny and milaege stops i been told its a common fault with focus is there any way i can fix the clocks myself
