Question: Front Struts and Rear Shock Absorbers

I would like to know what the hours required to install the front struts and the rear shocks in my car. I found the shock absorbers at .5 on here under maintenance and repairs but it doesn't list front struts for my car. The price that has been quoted to me with parts and labor is $665 and I just want to make sure that is around the proper amount before deciding to do it. They charge $80 an hour for labor.

To change the struts on your vehicle is 3.5 hours. And the vehicle's alignment should be checked afterwords.

I also looked into prices online for the struts and shocks and they range anywhere from only $35.00 each for shocks clear up to a couple of hundred each (struts and shocks). I understand that part of a repair shop's way of making money is to charge more for parts than I would pay at say AutoZone or O'Reilly's. (I worked in the wholesale automotive parts business for five years.) That part doesn't bother me at all, I just want to be paying a fair price for fair work done.
