Question: fuel gauge

After replacing fuel pump, the gas gauge is not accurate. It read over 1/4 tank, but I put in 14.5 gal.(16.5 gal tank) Is there a reset?

There is no reset, the fuel gauge sending unit is integral with the fuel pump. It is possible there's an electrical connection causing the problem, or the mechanism is not moving freely. You can test the circuit, but to check the mechanism itself, you'll have to lower the tank and remove the unit.
