Question: Gas milage

When I first got this car (1997) I was getting as much as 32 MPG on long trips. Now it's down to only 26 MPG. Is there any way I can get back to at least 30 MPG? The car shows 51,500 miles and has had regular maintenance. Thanks.

Talk About a TRULY DUMB answer!!! Glad I did not have to pay for it!!! Now I do realize that low tire pressure could be a factor in lowering gas mileage, but to only suggest this as the solution to this problem is ridiculous.
