I have checked the accelerator cable and gas pedal both are where they should be but as soon as the truck starts it races up to 5000 rpms could it be throttle position sensor

at 60 mph..just warmed up...the ding sounds and the oil pressure is down to ..well its down.
Has oil and presher is restored when started again ..with in 10 seconds on waw back to 55 oil pressure drops again.. made it coasting to side roads ..shut off ..restart oil pressur...
