Question: have 5 spd tranny dies at idle keeps disengages starter with loud noise grind and hard to push start

change new starter still dies at idle and hard to push start like flywheel binding or tranny lockin. but push hard enough flywheel brake loose it ll start up but has a grind to flywheel upon start up.

You could have a broken ring gear on the flywheel or a bad starter.
