Question: Headlight switch 1993 Saab 900S

The plastic housing in the headlight switch broke and I mended it with crazy glue and reinstalled it. The device is properly seated and works to turn the lights on (park lights, headlights) but when I turn the dial the off position, the lights will not shut off until I disconnect the + battery terminal. Could this be resloved by installing a new headlight switch? or could there be another issue. I notice that there is no relay/fuse? for running lights.

Sounds like the switch may be shorting across the terminals. I'd pull it back out and make sure you didn't get any glue on the contacts. They may have been glued together accidentally.
