Question: headlights seem dim after almost 6 years - aleways seem to need brights!

I was going to replace bulbs with sylvania ultras but read that they burn out very quickly; frequently under a year! Plus my local body shop wanted to charge me $100 to install them saying they had to drop the bumper which according to the owners manual isa not true. Have mine just dimmed with age (almost 6 years; 74m miles) and should I kjust replace them at the Honda dealer or do you have a better idea?

Sometimes the plastic lens fades and you have to get them buffed to clear them up. That will couse the head lights to be dim. Also I would just replace the lights with factor ones.
