Question: Heat works while driving but cools down when coming to a stop

when I warm the car up with fan blowing on medium the heat is weak. When I drive it going 30 miles and greater the heat blowing the way it should...but when I come to a stop or at 10 mph...i can feel the heat going down... there's new thermostat, new water pump, new everything but it continues... the car has 155000 miles ...I've made several trips to the mechanic but they can't figure it out

Sounds like poor flow through the heater core. Try flushing it out. Otherwise you may need to replace it.

thank you; I finally took it to a Nissan dealer and they're suspicious was the recent installation of a new head gasket. I bought the car 4 weeks prior to my original message of which the owner did advised me of the new head gasket, etc. Car had to be taken to a head shop to have it thoroughly checked for anything not seen through the naked eye. All of this was done and is currently being worked on ... they also found that the radiator cap was bent, of which there were air bubbles leaking from the cap and possibly from the gasket and the list grows. Ugh... but we think we have it all under control.
