Question: heater core problem

my heater core leaks from the pasenger side.....if I want to change the heater core...I know I have to remove the dashboard......do I have to remove the windshield also?...or what do I have to remove to change the heater core?

You definitely don't have to remove the windshield. But to see a step by step guide to what does need to be removed, look at a manual. There is an online repair manual available on the autozone.com website. It's free, but you'll have to register.
