Question: Help! I am having intermitent starting problems with my car.
Sometimes it makes no sound whatsoever, sometimes it makes a clicking sound, and sometimes it just cranks but won't kick over. Usually if I keep trying it, eventually it will start, but it can take up to 15 minutes before it will finally start. Other times it will start up with no problem or will only click a couple of times then fire up. I took it to a local mechanic who checked the battery and charging system, PCM for DTC, PCM data for faults, a "heat soak not only did nothing show up but that was also one of the days where it would start up with little to no problems. it usually will start right up if I have been driving it but sometimes it won't. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, maybe something to suggest to the mechanic to check that maybe he hasn't yet. thank you
