Question: Help my car died while I was driving home

I was driving my 03 infinity fx35 home and all of a sudden one by one the lights came on then the car suddenly died. After AAA brought my car back he said there was no power and the oil basically had poured out. Help!

You re going to need a shop to look at it.

The no power sounds like your alternator may have failed, but the oil leak is another issue all together. If the engine ran out of oil, there may be engine damage.

If the engine is sounds, the charging system (battery and alternator) should be checked, but before that the engine should be checked to make sure it is OK. You can pull the dipstick to see if it has any oil in it. If it does, but just is leaking, you may be OK, but if it is empty, you may have an expensive repair needed to get it running again.
