Question: Hi, could you please help? Iv'e been trying to get the brake booster top right hand nut off my 2000

Hi, could you please help? Iv'e been trying to get the brake booster top right hand nut off my 2000 gmc jimmy for three hours now, i'm using a 15mm deep socket but i cant get it on the nut, the steering column mount is in the way. Is there a trick to this or is it impossible to get at? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm going nuts here trying to get at it. Thank you. Dave.

You probably either need to drop or remove the column. Or you can try a swivel socket that allows you to go in at an angle.
