hi i have just bought a 95 chevy astro, the warning dash lights for the abs and brake pressure i think are always on while driving. the brakes seem good and firm and the fluid is topped up. any suggestions what it could be?

also i am finding it hard to get into reverse, i have to keep slotting the lever in and out of reverse under i finally hear it engage. I heard this may be the sun gear which sounds expensive, what do you think and is it safe to continue on driving?

On the ABS light. You need to get the codes from the ABS computer. The ABS light on the brake light comes on some times. On your trans I would make sure the fluid level is full and the trans shifter cable is adjusted right. If that stuff is good. You mite be looking at a new trans.
