The step by step guide for this repair can be found in the online repair guides at the website. The door glass is bonded to a piece of metal called a run channel. Typically you don't separate the glass from the run channel, but the regulator has plastic sliders that run in a horizontal groove at the bottom of the run channel. You need to move the glass up, and then maneuver the regulator arms so the sliders can slide out of the groove.
