Question: Honda accord?

Hello, I have a 2 door 1999 Honda accord v6. Every time my I go over 20,40 and 60kms, my car jolts a little bit. Kind of like a backfire. The whole car just shift a little bit. What is causing this? Could it be the transmission?? Also I just noticed a VERY loud squeaking noise when I hit the brakes and it continues after I let go of the brakes for a couple seconds. It's also squeaky when I go over a bump or am turning. It's gotten very loud. Almost like a bed spring squeak. What's causing this?

For all hard starting or engine performance issues, you should always start with the basics. Make sure the tune up items are done and check the charging and starting systems. The engine must have the basics done in order for it to be able to run correctly. Many things can cause this type of problem, and the simplest sometimes get overlooked.

It could be the spark plugs breaking down under load.

The noise may be your wear sensors on your brake pads making noise. I'd have a brake inspection done. It may be time for service.

Car Brakes: How Do You Know When to Change Them?

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
