Question: how can i fix it myself

I have a 1995 Lincoln town car it will start but wont stay running it will only stay running when I have the gas pedal down a little. I check my fuel pump relay nothing. I Evan check the release stem vale gas came out but wont stay running. THANKS

Sounds like a problem with the idle air control system or air/vacuum leaks.

The "gas" pedal is actually an AIR pedal (throttle) so check systems related to intake air

Thanks for responding but I found the problem it was a tune up. Soon as I put it in it fired up quick. So if anyone ask the same question I asked tell them to try a major tune up first then if that's not it try the IAC. Thanks Tyler O
