Question: How can i fix my cd player?

Have an '06 ford explorer, battery died i jump started it. Now my cd player won't work, just keeps saying cd error. Its a factory cd playet with a 6 disc cd changer, it will not load any othet cd or eject any of them. How can i fix it? I heard that jump starting my battery could have messed up my cd player, could that b the problem?
