Question: How do i adjust my high beams without interfering with my low beams?

Hey guys,

I have a funny situation...my high beams are pointed low on the driver side and high on the passenger side. Yet, my headlights are facing relatively dead on to where they need to be.
I noticed my running lights (hi beams on dim mode) were in different positions on the brick wall when I parked at night. And when I put my brights on a wall, the driver side is down while the passenger is up.

Help!

Check the installation of the bulbs in the sockets. Sounds like one is improperly installed. You could also have a broken housing or lens. The headlamps generally are adjusted as a single unit.

I fixed the problem yesterday, finally!

It turned out that the BULB ITSELF WAS BENT!

What I mean by that is that once I removed both low beam 9006 bulbs from the housing, I could see they were sitting in their bases evenly. One was bent slightly lower where the metal met the plastic.

So, I used a pair of pliers and slightly adjusted it back to level. Bam!

Thanks anyway. Hope this helps anyone who has the rare chance of getting a bent bulb
