Question: how do I check the transmission level for my 1997 cutless supreme? it has no dipstick

I went to check my transmission oil levels in my 1997 cutless supreme oldsmobile only to find out it has no dipstick to measure the level. I was told by a mechanic it is a self service transmission

There is a check plug on the transmission. It's to be checked at 105f and while running in park. It's on the side of the transmission, it overflows when full - add fluid until it overflows, cap it when it stops flowing out.
