Question: How do I disconnect the alarm?

Car was broken into. Door lock was drilled out. Alarm has not worked for a long time. Tried to start this morning. Alarm went off. Disconnected battery and got a ride to work. Please help.

Is this the factory or an aftermarket unit?

You probably need to replace the central locking unit to get the alarm to work.

The alarm is disarmed through the drivers door lock on this model I believe. You may need to replace the damaged components for the system to work at all.
