Question: how do i figure this out window motor and switches

checked motor if i put 12 volts to it it works both forward and reverse, when i plug it back into wiring harness and push the pass side switch to the window up position it runs if i put it to the window down position it does nothing. the swith from the drivers side door does nothing in either position

Sounds like you need one or two switches. Usually the signals all have to go through the drivers side (master) switch. Replace that switch first and then the passenger switch if you still have any problems.

If that doesn't fix it you likely have wiring problems
