Question: How do i fix my transfer case

we dropped my transfer case the other day to replace the chain in it, but when we put the transfer case back on the jeep the gear shifter would not move and we could not put it in 4 wd

You're going to need to have a shop look at it. I don't believe there is an alignment procedure for transfer cases, but I don't do them very often. I'd need to see the vehicle to figure it out.

There are probably online sources with instruction guides on the internet. Google "free online repair guides" and you should be able to find some service information.

If you need a step by step procedure, you will have to buy a service manual for the vehicle.

Also check youtube as many people have posted videos of simple repairs
