Question: How do I know if my tires have been rotated?

I dropped off my car to get my tires rotated. My car wheels come with locking lug nuts and I forgot to provide the key to the mechanic. The mechanic said they had a special device to remove the tires. I can't tell if they are being truthful or dishonest. What do you think?

There is a tool for locking lug nuts. So I would say he did it.
