Most block heaters go in a freeze plug. You will need to drain all the coolant. Then find a freeze plug on the engine block. Take a hammer and punch. Hit one side of the freeze plug. When it goes into the block coolant is going to come out. About .5 gallons of coolant so be read for that. Remove the freeze plug from the engine block. Install the block heater with the instruction that comes with it. If there are none you will have to go to there web site for them.
