Question: How do you replace O2 sensors on a 2002 Dodge Durango?

I have to replace an O2 sensor on my Durango however, I still need to run a diagnostic on the O2 sensors to determine which ones need to be replaced; the upstream or downstream. My questions are, after determining which sensor needs replacing, how easy is it to replace the O2 sensors yourself and where can I find instructions (with images or video) to do so?

Changing the sensor(s) is probably very easy, but I'd need to see the vehicle to figure it out. You may a special O2 sensor socket to change them on some vehicles. Most parts stores should have O2 sensor sockets.

There are probably online sources with instruction guides on the internet. Google "free online repair guides" and you should be able to find some service information.

If you need a step by step procedure, you will have to buy a service manual for the vehicle.

Also check youtube as many people have posted videos of simple repairs
