Question: how do you replace the headlight windshield wipers

I would like to know how to replace the headlight windshield wipers

Tyler O

It looks like the same as the wind screen wipers. No specific procedure listed.

I have the procedure for the wiper arms... not sure if this helps:

Wiper arm, headlamp, replacing

Switch off the ignition.

Headlamp wiper arm

Lift up the protective cover over the nut
Slacken off the nut a few turns. Leave the nut in place to protect the threads on the shaft journal
Remove the wiper arm from the shaft journal. Use a pipe wrench supported against the nut
Remove the nut and wiper arm
Disconnect the hose.

Headlamp wiper arm

Press the wiper arm into place on the shaft journal
Screw the nut into place loosely
Adjust the wiper arm to the correct position.

Note! Adjust the headlamp wiper arm on the right of the car. The wiper blade must be slightly under the stop when the nut is tightened. Then lift the blade over the stop. The blade must be pressed against the stop. On the left of the car the blade should be above the stop when the nut is tightened.

Tighten the nut. Tighten to 3.5 Nm
Install the hose
Check the function of the headlamp wipers. Check that wiper arms park horizontally.

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
