Question: how do you take out and replace the starter

Start off by disconnecting the negative battery cable. Then fallow the positive cable to the starter. You will need a metric socket set. Remove the positive battery cablr from the starter and the little wire going to the starter. Remove the two bolts holding the start. The starter should come out at this point. Make sure to hold the starter when you take the last bolt out or it will fall. I would replace it with a starter that has a warranty.
