Question: How long should the factory spark plugs last.

My van is currently at 50000 miles and misfiring and I want to make sure it is the plugs before I take it all apart. Is there anything else that old cause misfiring/sputtering at 50000miles.

Yes, it could be a number of things. A bad coil, injector or some air/fuel delivery problem. Check the engine computer for fault codes first.
