Well... the more important question is: how many miles since the engine and the transmission have been rebuilt. They seem to need each approx every 100k. That is a LOT of miles on a vehicle that isn't great for durability but if it's been really well maintained and is in good shape AND doesn't have anywhere near 100k on the the engine/tranny rebuilds, then you'll have plenty of life left. But if you're looking at major repairs right now, sinking more money into it isn't a great idea.

You, or the previous owner, are the only one who would know the repair history. If you have any saved paperwork from previous repairs, you can look through it. Otherwise, you can have a compression check done to see what kind of shape the engine is in.

Car Brakes: How Do You Know When to Change Them?

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work.
