Question: How much does it cost to replace a side view mirror ?

I smacked a tree while backing up and the mirror went all the way back . It was able to return to normal position but the mirror is broken and hanging out of place and the plastic cover is totally smashed. So I am more certain the entire part needs to be replaced!

Sometimes when break a mirror, the door frame gets bent in the process, so the door will need to be checked. If it's just the mirror, the labor usually is around 2 hours or less. You'll really need to take it to a body shop for an accurate estimate...they should quote you a price for free.
