Question: How much is to many miles?

I am looking to buy a 2000 2.4 twin cam sunfire gt,
It has a brand new safety for 2 years, the car has
161 555 miles on it. Is that to much!? Plus it read perfect on a compression test on the motor? Thanks

Fairly high mileage, so expect higher repair bills.

Too much is relative. Several of my vehicles are over 200K miles, but I expect to do more work on them as compared to a lower mileage vehicle.
