Question: How much should I pay in labor to replace the 460 engine in my 1978 ford f-250 2wd?

I have a 1978 ford f-250 that I need the engine replaced in. How much should I pay in labor to have it replaced? I also have a trans put back into a 1965 ford mustang. How much should I pay in labor for that to be done?

I don't have labor times listed for either of these vehicles (nothing before 81)

I'd call around a few shops and get quotes. Try to find someone familiar with older models.
