Question: How reliable are these cars?

I am looking at buying a 2002 X5 sport with 64,000 miles that's been garaged and well maintained, but I'm worried about maintenance costs and other costs. Never owned a BMW. What's your thoughts

Depends on your expectations. It will be a luxury German vehicle, about average reliability with expensive repair and parts cost. It wont be like a Japanese economy car....
