Question: how to fix auto slide door?

Driver side auto door won't always open with key fob or button on inside of van. Will also not always shut either, if it does close will not close all the way. Motor for door will run but will not always move door. What do I need to do to fix problem, just change the motor? And how easy is it to get at?
