Question: how to fix code po171 and po174

I bought the car used with 62000 miles on it, the service engine light came on and I had the intake replaced and then the plugs replaced and a little while later the service light came back on came back on. I had the codes read and it shows the same thing. The car is great but this problem is not being fixed, what do you suggest! Thanks for any help!!!

Try cleaning the MAF (mass air flow) sensor. And here's some diagnostic steps for your codes:

I changed the MAF sensor as well as cleaning the first one, still doing the same thing! I have put about $1000 in to this problem but it has not been fixed, The car is great, I just want to get it to run like it is supposed to. This is my third Nissan and I had great service with the other 2!
