Question: How to remove the inner brake light group in the rear door

How is the inner stop light grouping (in the rear door) removed? Does any trim have to be removed? I have removed the 2 nuts on the interior but the light grouping won't budge.

With the retaining nuts removed it should be able to pop out. Try sliding it left or right first before pulling it outward, but be careful not to pry too hard on it because those can be fragile pieces and break easily.
