Question: how to set timing on 93 ford thunderbird

need help setting the timing on my 93 ford thunderbird

There is a spout connector on the drivers inner fender well. It has two wires and a plug at the end. With the car off remove the plug. Start the car and check the timing. Should be 10 BTDC. Shut the car off and reinstall the plug to the wires. If the distributor needs to be move loosen the bolt at the base. Then twist the distibutor. Recheck the timing.
