Question: Hyundai Santa Fe won't turn over

My Hyundai Santa Fe has full electrical power for all interior systems and the battery seems to have a strong charge however after the vehicle sits for a while it won't turn over without the extra power from jumper cables. Is this most likely a problem with the battery needing to be charged or a faulty starter/solanoid?

I would have the battery tested. It could be shorted. If that tests ok then I would look for a short on the car.
