Question: i cant get heat inside the car

i have 1977 cadillac coupe deville i cant get heat inside the car. i changed the stat, also the heater control valve. its hot goin in the heater core. and out the heater core, i had my had on the two hoses

Check the to make sure the heater control is open. You could open it manually. If it's open you couls have a plugged heater core. That the lines off. Use the garden hose and see if the water goes through the heater core. If not replace the heater core.
