Question: i dont want a to lift my truck but it says i need to

i have a 1997 GMC sierra 1500 and i want to get some Dick Cepek DC-2 rimes it says it requires a lift to fit but im getting the same size rimes i had before do i need a to get a suspension lift?

Do the tires have the same profile height as before? If the diameter of the rims and tires are the same as what you have been running, you may be OK. But if what you have been running are not stock, then you may have already been running something that is not within the clearance parameters. You may want to double check with a distributor or tire shop for a second opinion.
