Question: i found a 92 corvette with 140,000 miles is this bad

it is pretty clean inside and out i am having my personal mechanic go over it but i just wanted to know and i started it up and it started right up and in less then a minute was purring like a kitten and reeved it and it sounded great what do you think

Highway miles and city miles wear a car differently, so mileage is not a great indicator, but having your mechanic go through and check it out is the best thing you can do.

Depending on the price, the condition of the car and how long you expect it to last are all factors in making a good decision. Plenty of people drive vehicles with 140k or more on them, budgeting for repairs is necessary--but it's my experience that that is true for any mileage.
