I found a wheel off a Chevy Colorado, 15x7 z21.
The z21 is an off road package.
I want to use it for a spare tire on my 2008 GMC Canyon 4x4? Is that okay for a spare or will that cause a safety problem?

Ideally a spare should be full size. However if this wheel has a similar over all diameter and the same bolt pattern it should be okay. Check to make sure the wheel clears the brakes and struts, make sure the lug nuts will work.

Basically if it fits and is about the same size you should be fine.
