Question: I had the shifter cable replaced and now when I try to shift into drive the stick wants to go right

to 3rd gear. Is there an adjustment for this?

No specific adjustment if the cable was installed correctly. If you had it done by a shop, take it back and have them install it properly. If you did it yourself, here is the service procedure:
