I have 2 questions. question 1 what should a front wheel hub assembly cost to replace? I have the 3.8L fifth avenue.

question 2. what are the best plugs and wires to install for tune up purposes?

The hub assembly is very expensive if available at all from the dealer. From a salvage yard it should be fairly reasonable. Expect about $150. Labor to install it shouldn't be over an hour but an alignment is recommended after the install. So expect about another $200 depending on what shop you take it to.

The best plugs and wires are probably NGKs or factory direct. BOSCH are also good quality generally.

thank you for your answer.. I have 1 final question.. how much should I expect to pay for a tune-up? I looked under the hood and this is not something I could do myself as the position of the 3 back plugs looks to difficult to get to.

Depends on the shop you take it to and the level of tune up you need or want. A basic tune up should be under $500. That would include replacement of all wear items, filters, critical fluids and and needed adjustments.

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work.
